el hacha y el mango

Habiendo un hombre fabricado un hacha, pidió a la selva que le diese madera fuerte de que hacerle un mango. Concedida por la selva su petición puso el mango a la segur y comenzó a cortar aquí y allí los árboles que más le agradaban, lo cual viendo la encina, es fama dijo: Bien merecido lo tenemos, pues dimos al hombre la madera para servirse del hacha.
moraleja: No se debe dar armas a los enemigos, pues seguramente se servirán de ellas contra nosotros.
